Bulk Brylla Botanics (BB Botanics) develops, selects and trials new plants for the international market. Drawing on the many years of experience of Mark Bulk and Anne Bulk-Brylla, and their deep passion for botany, new selections are carefully evaluated for their characteristics, quality and added value. Only plants that truly stand out are developed further, protected and made available to professional growers worldwide.

What began with more or less chance observations gradually developed into a targeted selection process for special and distinctive plants. In 2020, this activity was given its own name and BB Botanics was established as an independent branch within the nursery.

Since the early 1990s, we have introduced more than twenty plants, both under non-protected names and as plant breeders’ rights-protected cultivars. Currently, six new selections are in the trial phase. Two others will be introduced shortly, both in Europe and the United States, although with some time between their respective introductions.

Here too, we work according to organic principles: without pesticides, synthetic fertilisers or hormones.
